The Little Deaf One was neutered this morning. He also received his second set of vaccines, his rabies vaccine and junior tag and his microchip. This is a photo of him in recovery. Being a veterinary technician and an overprotective foster parent, I insisted on recovering him.
Once he was back in my office, I got this great shot of him trying to stand up. Soon after, I made his new name tag and his deaf tag. I’m not sure if he’ll make Lavender Gardens his forever home, though I’m hopeful- at least most of the time.
He is being a little dramatic, but who can blame him? I’ve already had to place an e-collar on him, which means I’m now required to refer to him as Lady Gaga. I don’t want to, I have to.
Let me know if you want him listed. You can write up a bio and send me some photos if you can part with him but if you and Omar are like me and Chris, you two won’t be able to do it! I mailed you some Deaf Dogs Rock bandanas and some “deaf dogs hear with their hearts” gourmet dog treats today and you should get them around Wednesday. :o)
Ahh, he deserves to be a little dramatic after the day he’s had! Hope he is feeling his old self soon.
