No Fuss Raw Feeding
with Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance
Are you curious about feeding a homemade raw food diet to your dog but don’t know where to begin? Are you concerned about making sure you are feeding a raw food diet that is both balanced and complete? Are you worried about accidentally hurting your dog by feeding an incomplete or inappropriate raw food diet? If this is you, I personally know where you’re coming from!
I understand these things because I was once like you- curious about raw feeding and wanting to provide its many benefits to my dogs but often paralyzed by fear- fear of doing it wrong, fear of not feeding a balanced and complete diet, fear of making my dogs sick- or worse.
I also understand the pitfalls and challenges many pet peeps experience when they first start researching or trying their hand at raw feeding.
I am a rotation feeder and I wanted to add raw food meals to my dogs’ diet. I believed that adding raw food meals to my dog’s rotation diet was an important way to add variety and additional nutritional and health benefits to their food bowl.
But how to do it safely and where to begin?

Some Benefits of Raw Feeding That I Wanted To Offer My Dogs
Because a raw food diet isn’t exposed to high-temperature cooking or processing that kills many essential vitamins and enzymes, raw food diets offer many health benefits to dogs including, among others:
- Stronger immune system
- Improved joint function and health
- Healthier gums and teeth for better oral health
- Healthy weight management
- Better muscle tone
- Increased energy
- Softer, healthier, shinier coat
What I Learned About Raw Feeding
As I began to research raw feeding, I quickly learned that raw feeding isn’t as simple as tossing a bunch of raw meat in my dogs’ food bowls and calling it a day.
Nope.
One of the most common mistakes that people make when they first start feeding a raw food diet is that they don’t make sure it contains all the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients a dog needs to survive and thrive.
A bowl full of meat is missing most essential nutrients, so additional foods or supplements need to be added.
One option is to work with a veterinarian or veterinary nutritionist to create appropriate homemade raw food recipes for your dog, purchase all the required raw muscle and organ meat, fruits, vegetables and supplements and then add the right amount of each to your dog’s food bowl.
While this may be feasible for some people, for many people this isn’t possible.
If you’re like me, at the end of a long day, you don’t have the mental bandwidth or the time to measure all these ingredients, feed your dog and then properly clean the bowl.
I want to include raw food meals in my dog’s rotation diet- meals that are balanced and nutritionally complete but are also fast and easy to prepare.
My solution? Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance.
Health Benefits of Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance
Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance is a grain-free, dehydrated base mix that takes the prep-work and guesswork out of creating a balanced homemade raw food diet- with no muss or fuss.
Because it includes 24 human-grade whole food ingredients, Raw Vibrance is the perfect way for beginners to start feeding a raw food diet.
It’s also an ideal way for more experienced pet peeps like me with busy, unforgiving schedules who need a fast and easy way to feed a nutritionally-complete raw food meal- with zero anxiety, fear, hair pulling or face palming.
The Raw Vibrance dehydrated base mix includes many important ingredients to ensure your dog’s raw food meal is nutritionally complete. Some key ingredients include, among others:
- 9 nutritious vegetables, such as broccoli, green beans, squash, beets, celery, spinach among others
- Bone meal, crushed eggshells and eggshell membranes, which provide the required amount of calcium and support joint health
- Raw Goat’s Milk as a source of probiotics, supporting a healthy digestive system
- Green lipped mussels, which are an excellent source of Omega 3
- Shiitake mushrooms, which provide powerful immune system support
- Chia seeds and sesame seeds, which increase energy and are loaded with Omega 3, fiber, antioxidants, calcium and magnesium.
How To Prepare Raw Vibrance (In Less Than 10 Minutes)
One thing I love about Dr. Harvey’s Raw Vibrance is that, in addition to being nutritionally complete, it is quick and easy to prepare.
Step 1: Add hot water to the correct amount of the Raw Vibrance dehydrated mix. The amount of water and Raw Vibrance base mix is listed on the packaging.
Step 2: Let sit for 8 minutes. This allows the dehydrated base mix to rehydrate.
Step 3: Add your choice of high-quality raw protein (beef, poultry, fish, eggs etc.) to the rehydrated mix. If you aren’t quite ready to feed uncooked protein to your dog, you can add lightly-cooked protein instead.
Step 4: Add your choice of healthy oil, such as fish oil, coconut oil, flax oil or olive oil. To make preparation even easier, you can substitute oil for Dr. Harvey’s Health and Shine fish oil capsules.
Step 5: Sit back and watch your dog enjoy a fresh-prepared, homemade raw food meal!
And don’t forget to pat yourself on the back for being the best parent on the block!
